About Us
At the Indo-Pacific Foundation of Canada (IPFC), we believe that culture is more than identity — it is connection. It is through culture that we bridge generations, dissolve barriers, and build lasting relationships between communities here in Canada and across the Indo-Pacific region.
We are a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to empowering diverse communities through inclusive programming that celebrates heritage, fosters belonging, and creates opportunities — from the grassroots to global platforms.
Whether it’s a cultural performance in a public square, a youth-led peace choir, or a business mentorship circle — we build spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued.

Our Mission
To connect communities, empower newcomers, and promote intercultural understanding through inclusive events, mentorship, and collaboration across Canada and the Indo-Pacific.
Our Vision
A Canada where diversity is not only celebrated, but activated — as a force for peace, prosperity, and progress, at home and across borders.
Our Story
Based in British Columbia, the Indo-Pacific Foundation of Canada works across Canada and throughout the Indo-Pacific region — including India, China, Korea, the Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and beyond.
Our programs reflect the lived experiences of immigrant, Indigenous, and settler communities, guided by a strong commitment to reconciliation, inclusion, and accessibility.
In 2025, we launched our first international chapter in India, focused on building real trade and people-to-people partnerships between Canada and the Indo-Pacific. We're now in discussions to establish additional chapters in countries such as the Philippines, Vietnam, and South Korea.
